Workforce Development and Training
Agrisolar workforce development is an emerging area that trains workers with the skills needed to install, operate, and maintain on-farm solar systems, including agrivoltaics. NAWA works towards a future where diverse, skilled workforce in the Northwest is available for both the construction and ongoing maintenance of these systems. NAWA connects agrisolar workforce programs and trainers and serves as a clearinghouse for resources, curricula, training, pre-apprenticeship, and apprenticeship programs.

NAWA serves as a central hub for information, offering access to resources, best practices, and guidance for agrisolar workforce programs. We connect educators, trainers, and workforce program leaders with industry experts to navigate the complexities of building a strong agrisolar workforce.
