Northwest Agrisolar Workforce Alliance
Empowering the Next Generation of Agrisolar Leaders.
Empowering the Next Generation of Agrisolar Leaders.
NAWA brings together organizations, educators, and industry leaders to support a diverse, skilled agrisolar workforce in the Northwest.
As a central hub for knowledge and resources, we connect workforce programs, trainers, and industry experts to share best practices and develop innovative solutions. Through collaboration and partner engagement, we strengthen local economies and advance clean energy solutions.
Agrisolar workforce development is an emerging area that trains workers with the skills needed to install, operate, and maintain on-farm solar systems, including agrivoltaics. NAWA works towards a future where diverse, skilled workforce in the Northwest is available for both the construction and ongoing maintenance of these systems. NAWA connects agrisolar workforce programs and trainers and serves as a clearinghouse for resources, curricula, training, pre-apprenticeship, and apprenticeship programs.
NAWA serves as a central hub for information, offering access to resources, best practices, and guidance for agrisolar workforce programs. We connect educators, trainers, and workforce program leaders with industry experts to navigate the complexities of building a strong agrisolar workforce.
We foster relationships between workforce programs, solar developers, farmers, and other organizations to promote a thriving agrisolar workforce in the Northwest. Together, we work to strengthen local economies, support clean energy growth, and create long-term opportunities for workers in the region.
